Meta has launched a feature called Spaces for its Muse AI agent. The tool allows users to build customized interactive interfaces inside the app by describing what they want in plain text. Examples include wedding planners, holiday gift trackers, meal recipe collections, and simple trivia games.
Spaces connect with third party services including Google Calendar, Gmail, OpenTable, and Notion. Once connected, Muse updates information automatically in the background. Price changes, upcoming dates, and project progress refresh without requiring manual user commands. Users can directly check off tasks, add notes, and edit elements inside each space.
The update is rolling out to all Muse users. It comes alongside recent additions like Muse Voice for video interactions, as well as updated memory models. Meta is also working on options to let users share and collaborate on Spaces with others.
Why it matters
For practical AI users, creators, and students, Spaces changes the AI interface from a temporary conversation into persistent tools. Instead of rebuilding prompts or maintaining separate spreadsheets, you can instruct the assistant to generate dedicated hubs for active projects.
This layout allows designers and organizers to keep relevant information in view. You can schedule weekend project boards to appear on Saturdays while keeping work task lists visible on weekdays.
